Audiobook: Impromptu

LibriVox volunteers bring you 20 recordings of Impromptu by John Clare. This was the Weekly Poetry project for September 17, 2023. \------ John Clare was a working-class English poet. He worked as a farm hand, a gardener, a lime burner, a militia member, and even joined a Gypsy camp. In later life, he escaped for months from an asylum, before being turned back in.
